2. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to provide our services:

• Analytics Data: We use the analytics service PostHog to understand which pages are visited and how visitors find this site. PostHog is loaded only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Before that, and if you reject, no analytics data is collected. After your consent, PostHog stores a random identifier in a cookie and in your browser's local storage (names starting with "ph_") and records the pages you visit, the page you came from, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language setting, time on page, clicks and interactions, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Your IP address itself is not stored. Session recordings are switched off. Analytics data is kept for up to 7 years (the retention period of our PostHog plan).

4. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• PostHog Analytics: Analytics, only with your consent. PostHog processes the data on our behalf as our processor and stores it on servers in the EU (Frankfurt am Main). You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future: click "Cookie settings" in the footer and choose "Reject". PostHog then no longer loads, and its cookies are deleted from your browser.
• Hetzner Online GmbH: Website hosting

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above or as required by law. Analytics data is kept for up to 7 years (the retention period of our PostHog plan).

8. Cookies & Local Storage

We use one strictly necessary cookie for your language and one for your cookie choice. Analytics identifiers are only stored if you accept.

• Language preference cookie (preferred_lang): remembers your language so we do not re-detect it on every visit. Strictly necessary.
• Cookie choice (cookie_consent): remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, for 12 months. Strictly necessary.
• PostHog identifiers (ph_* cookie and local storage): stored only if you accept analytics in the banner.

You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer, or clear your browser cookies.
